This 8th edition of Euroforest brought together 416 exhibitors and 42,540 visitors over the 3 days of the fair. A truly international event, here are two illustrations of the visitor statistics to highlight the scale of the show.
A national event...
This map shows that Euroforest visitors come from all over France.
Of course, the geographical proximity of the fair has made it easier for people from the surrounding departments to attend it.
A large number of visitors came from the forest areas of France, with a very good proportion from eastern France.
But the French visitors were not all from mainland France.
The award for the greatest number of kilometres travelled to get to Euroforest was not won by a foreign visitor, but by visitors from the French island of Réunion: 9,000 kms!
... and international
The fair's influence extends far beyond the borders of France, throughout Europe and across the Atlantic. Visitors from 18 countries were able to meet the French forestry industry and discover the Saône-et-Loire department, with a particularly large number of visitors from Belgium, Switzerland and Italy.
Euroforest is aiming to raise its international stature even higher, and with this latest edition, the show has once again confirmed its position as the European meeting place for the industry.
